Fair returns to Hillsdale

This week “The Most Popular Fair on Earth” is back in town for the 155 th annual Hillsdale County Fair. Candy apples, cotton candy, elephant ears and funnel cakes are just some of the trademark delicacies to be enjoyed at the fairgrounds.

Two students diagnosed with meningitis

Since the beginning of the semester, two Hillsdale College students have been diagnosed with viral meningitis. In early September, an e-mail was sent to the Hillsdale student body informing them that a fellow student had been diagnosed with a case of viral meningitis.

 

Dinesh D’Souza visits campus
Author and research scholar at Stanford’s Hoover Institute, Dinesh D’Souza, entertained a crowded room of students, faculty members and staff with stories and jokes at a luncheon Friday. He also spoke of the culture war in America and the responsibilities conservatives face today.
