Marijuana makes legal gains in U.S.

Along with the Nov. 2 presidential election's ballot proposals regarding major issues such as gay marriage and state gambling laws, voters in several states had the opportunity once again to weigh in on marijuana law.

Youth didn't rock the vote

For all the noise, there wasn't much of a change.
Even with all the efforts of the Democratic Party to get out the vote through vehicles such as "Vote or Die," with hip-hop star Sean "P. Diddy" Combs urging America's youth to vote, the "Vote for a Change" concert tour, and "Rock the Vote," the youth did not turn out for the 2004 presidential election as anticipated.
