College founders launched GOP

It's no secret that Hillsdale College students and faculty are politically minded. This fervor for politics, however, has not been a recent development - it's rooted in the very origin of the college itself.

With the upcoming Founder's Campaign and the October Gala fundraiser, students and faculty alike will be reminded of the college's political history and contribution, particularly to the creation of the Republican Party.

 

Economy important issue to election, Hillsdale

In the aftermath of vicious attacks on their military records, both presidential candidates have recently switched their focus to the economy. In weeks past Sen. John Kerry has blasted President Bush for "not creating enough jobs," and for his policies on international trade.
