Chi Omega blood
drive
The women of Chi Omega will be sponsoring
a Red Cross Blood Drive from 10 a.m.-3:45 p.m. today in the
Ethan Allen Room.
Men's track, KKG fun run
The men's track team and Kappa Kappa Gamma
are sponsoring the third annual "Wild" Bill Lundberg
Farmhouse 5K Charity Road Race and Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. on
April 17. The race will raise money for Domestic Harmony, as
well as the men's track team. The entry fee is $15 before Saturday,
and $20 after. There will be a barbeque after the race for a
$5 fee. Registration is available outside of Saga, or for more
information, call 437-3438 or 616-901-3847.
Sociology lecture
Kevin J. Christiano, associate professor of
sociology at the University of Notre Dame, will be giving a
lecture, "Righteousness and Reticence: Political Uses of
Religious Identity in the United States and Canada" at
6 p.m. Monday in Phillips Auditorium.
Big Band concert next Sunday
The Hillsdale College Big Band concert, featuring
Marcus Belgrave, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been
rescheduled for 8 p.m. Sunday, April 25, in Markel Auditorium.
Choir concert Sunday
The Hillsdale College Choirs will be performing
a spring concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at College Baptist Church.
Admission is free and no tickets are required.
Meet the Equestrian Club
The Hillsdale College Equestrian Club is inviting
the campus community to meet the team and wish Betsy Teetor
luck in nationals. The event will be at 6:30 p.m. April 22 at
the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds arena. There will be riding
and jumping demonstrations. Bring your kids, carrots and apples.
There will be ponies for younger children to pet.
Paintball sign-up extended
The Student Activities Board has extended
sign-up for paintball for those last-minute people. Waivers
and sign-up will be in the GOAL office.
