Do a little dance...

A total of 93 buddies and 41 college student volunteers attended the dance. The event was co-sponsored by the Chi Omega sorority, who helped set up, decorate, dance and clean up. The dance lasted from 6-8 p.m. and occurs once a semester.

The dance was senior Jen Meyer's last as director of the program.

"It's sad this was my last dance, but I have confidence in my successor, Abbie Clevenger," Meyer said.

Meyer's last activity of her college volunteer career will be the Day of Champions, held Saturday, April 3. The event will feature Chris Burke, best known as Corky on the television show Life Goes On. Over 100 volunteers are needed to host the event.

"It's good to see that there's a consistent interest in the program," Meyer said. "The Best Buddies program sponsors three events each semester with attendance growing with each one."
