Bobb' sent to educate Iraqis

Hillsdale graduate,
'96, and professor of political science David Bobb was sent
to Baghdad this week by the Bush Administration. He joins an
American delegation that will present a panel on "Civic
Education in a Constitutional Democracy" before Iraqi officials
and educators this Saturday.

Chi cars looted

Early last Thursday, under cover of darkness, unidentified vandals
broke into and looted five vehicles in the Sigma Chi fraternity's
alley-access parking lot. The crime cost students over $1,000
in damage, and more than $900 in personal belongings were stolen.

staff relinquish Conservative positions

Just a week and a half after the first issue of The Hillsdale
Conservative was published, former editor-in-chief and freshman
Hans Zeiger was asked to resign and did so. His resignation
was followed by a number other members of the Conservative staff.

Justice
on campus

There was standing room only left in Phillips Auditorium last
Thursday night. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was speaking
to Hillsdale College and the surrounding community, and no one
wanted to miss it.
