The impulse to ban
smoking in public places has extended worldwide. Cities such
as New York and Boston have already initiated bans on smoking,
and even Ireland will soon prohibit smoking in public places,
including pubs.
Michigan residents may soon face a similar ban.

displaces McIntyre residents

Last Wednesday all the girls in McIntyre Residence were evacuated
for approximately 24 hours due to a large sewer drain clog that
backed up and caused flooding in the maintenance rooms and some
of the bathrooms.

Thomas to teach seminar on Constitution

Senior Raeleen Kasinec called her parents as soon as she got
the news. Senior Ryan Williams, stunned, hit the send button
and accepted the invitation immediately. They had just received
the news that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is visiting
Hillsdale College, and they are on the invitation list.
