Apply to be a journalist

The Dow Journalism Program is accepting applications for entrance in the spring semester. For more information contact Joy Spencer at joy.spencer@hillsdale.edu, or pick up an application in the Old Carr Library or the Collegian office. Applications due Nov. 5.

Scholarships available

All juniors from California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey., New York, Pennsylvania, Texas or Wisconsin with a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, and who have an interest in business, are eligible to apply for a $5,000 scholarship from Liberty Mutual & the Foundation for Independent Higher Education. The deadline is Nov. 1. Apply at the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Tennis match this Monday

The Hillsdale College women's tennis team is sponsoring a tennis doubles tournament at 1 p.m. Nov. 2. The cost is $5 per team, and $3 per single, and sign-ups are outside SAGA. For more information contact Sue Abel at ext. 3171.

Yearbook pictures

Student yearbook photographs will be taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5 in Ethan Allen Conference Room E.
