Christian Fellowship's fourth annual barn dance was held Oct.
4.
Michelle Sybesma, the event's
coordinator, said the dance was a non-evangelical activity intended
to offer students a good time.
The hayloft at 4811 Homer Road
was turned into a Midwestern country ballroom, and haystacks
were pushed back and piled like grandstand seating.
A six-piece band, consisting of
a vocalist, keyboard, fiddle, accordion, bass and drums, provided
the beat.
"It's a time to let the social
dance kids show off," said IV Social Chair Emily Stack.
"But it's also a healthy and wholesome gathering of Hillsdale's
all-stars."
