Life Chain protests abortion

 Hillsdale College students and faculty were among approximately 150 Michigan residents who participated in the national Life Chain event last week in protest of abortion and in support of a bill recently proposed by the state legislature to ban "partial-birth" abortion.

Academy thrives as public schools struggle

     As the deadline approaches for implementation of the federal No Child Left Behind Act, school districts nationwide have been reassessing their programs and administrative organization. Many school officials are complaining that the expectations imposed by the new federal standards are simply too high.

Willson advises ATO

     Alpha Tau Omega fraternity alumni recently selected John Willson, Salvatori Professor of History and Traditional Values, as the new faculty adviser for the Beta Kappa chapter at Hillsdale. Willson's main responsibility will be to oversee the academic progress within the house.
