Library book-buying budget drops
Library to buy more paperbacks

The library’s annual budget for purchasing new books has been cut from 5,000 to 3,000 volumes. Daniel Knoch, head librarian of Mosey Library, said the new figure is “minimal to a good college library.”

Rising debt hits students

For the first time in 15 years the probability of owning a home has decreased by a significant amount as debt levels increase, according to a study conducted by Nellie Mae, a debt consolidation firm.
