Phi Mu chapter seeks independence

Following trend, area plants to lay off hundreds by spring

By next spring, approximately 100 workers will lose their jobs at the Pillsbury plant in Hillsdale, the latest in a list of industrial lay-offs in Hillsdale County that will leave several hundred workers unemployed.
