Following
trend, area plants to lay off hundreds by spring

By next spring, approximately 100 workers will lose
their jobs at the Pillsbury plant in Hillsdale, the latest in a list
of industrial lay-offs in Hillsdale County that will leave several hundred
workers unemployed.

Prof from the "little jewel" of Costa Rica
