Justin Flowers doesn’t seem very different from any other Hillsdale College student.

He studies, plays video games with friends and sings in the Hillsdale College Chamber Choir. But Flowers has something that most Hillsdale students don’t: Eastern religion.

College through the eyes of two freshmen

On the wall behind the door in room 117 of the Olds Residence is a poster. The poster, a picture of James Dean in a leather jacket, has a quotation on the bottom reading, “Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.”

Jordan to compile southerner's work

After years of close friendship with Marion Montgomery and a period of petitioning the Earhart Foundation, Dr. Michael Jordan has been commissioned to collect and edit a group of Montgomery’s essays concerning the South into a book. He was awarded a grant of an undisclosed amount to begin his work.
