— Hillsdale College women’s track senior Stephanie
Carroll (Mt. Pleasant, Mich.) and junior DiOnna
Williams (Ft. Riley, Kansas) both earned All-America
honors at the 2005 NCAA Division II Indoor Track
& Field Championships, held in Boston, Mass.
on March 12-13.
Both
Charger athletes earned All-America honors at
last year’s indoor championships.
Carroll
placed fifth in the 800m finals with a time of
2:12.13, while Williams earned a fourth-place
finish in the 200m dash with a time of 24.54.
In
addition, senior Candice Mulder (Kentwood, Mich.)
also competed at the championships. Mulder finished
with a time of 56.77 in the 400m, which was good
enough for a 10th place finish in the prelims.
