College to Honor Four at Awards Banquet

Football - Veteran Team Has High Hopes

Hillsdale Charger FootballThe GLIAC Pre-season Coaches Poll picked our Chargers to finish 6th in the league this year with three nationally ranked teams leading the voting.  But the Chargers boast three pre-season All-Americans and they have their sights set much higher, hoping to improve on last season's respectable 7-4 record.  Our boys are off to a quick 2-0 start, including an upset victory over always tough Michigan Tech.

With the graduation of three seniors, including three-time All-Region setter, Stephanie Booms, plus the loss due to injury of three-year starter, senior Kitt Smith, the Lady Chargers had some questions about their line-up heading into the 2009 season.  Two tournaments into the season, with a record of 7-1, they appear to have served up another winner.
