The Founders' Key

Washington Times Reviews

Dr. Arnn's Latest Book,

The Founders' Key

Since the emergence of the progressive movement in the early years of the last century, influential scholars and politicians have maintained that the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are old and contradictory documents that have become irrelevant to the governance of the nation.  Dr. Arnn vigorously challenges this prevailing view and urges Americans to rediscover the roots of their liberty.

Amanda PuttRunner Amanda Putt Wins 3 D-II Track Championships

Had Amanda Putt won just one NCAA-DII track championship this year, she would have become one of the most successful female runners in Hillsdale history.  However, with three national championships this year (two indoor, one outdoor), Amanda staked a claim to being one of Hillsdale's greatest athletes ever -- in any sport, male or female.

Six additional Chargers earned D-II All-American honors this year in the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Two indoor championships earned Amanda the D-II "Indoor Track Female Athlete of the Year" honors.

New Athletic CenterCollege Breaks Ground for New Athletic Center

Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center, which will house indoor track and tennis facilities, took place on Friday, May 11, the day before Commencement.  The 76,000 square-foot building (see Diagrams) is to be located very near the northwest corner of the existing George Roche Sports Complex.  It will feature a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track and spaces for field events as well as four tennis courts.  It will also accommodate large College events such as Commencement.  The late Margot Biermann was a 1993 graduate of the College. She passed away in 2010.

The new facility is scheduled to be completed for use in the 2013 spring semester, after which renovations to the Jesse Philips Arena in the Roche Sports Complex may begin (funding permitting).
